David Perron is Concussion Free and Back With Blues

David Perron missed the final 72 games last season after suffering a concussion on November 4, 2010.  Perron got hit by Joe Thornton’s shoulder as he stepped out of the penalty box.  Perron went down instantly as Thornton picked up a game misconduct for an illegal hit to the head.

David Perron will be a huge help to the Blues this year if he can stay healthy.  In only ten games last year, Perron recorded five goals and two assists.  In the previous two seasons combined, Perron had 35 goals and 97 points.  The Blues missed the playoffs by ten points last year but have a lot of potential now.  Perron will need to pick up where he left off alongside David Backes and Patrik Berglund to help the Blues make the playoffs in the very deep Western Conference.
